Star player for Adamson University Jerom Lastimosa will undergo surgery and rehabilitation after receiving a diagnosis of a full ACL injury.
Fr. Aldrin Suan, CM, the representative of Lastimosa and Adamson to the UAAP Board of Managing Directors, verified the development on Sunday.
“I received the medical record last night confirming that Jerom ay may full tear ng ACL,” Suan told the media on Sunday following Adamson’s 63-54 victory over Far Eastern University.
Lastimosa made his comeback to the field for Adamson in UAAP Season 86 versus University of the Philippines on October 25, but his playing time was cut short after he collided with Gerry Abadiano and had to be helped back to the dugout.
Prior to Jerom Lastimosa’s final season of play in UAAP Season 86, Adamson University retired his jersey number 7 in September.
