Annunciation College of Bacon Sorsogon Unit, Inc. (ACBSUI) Panthers secured Game 1 of the Bicol Universities and Colleges Athletic Leagues (BUCAL) Season 5 Men’s Basketball Championship in the Seniors Division on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Ateneo de Naga University. Panthers outscored Amando Cope College (ACC) Green Serpents, 70-58.
Joven Salvacion led the Panthers with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks and a steal. Mark Ernest Fajardo and team captain Markclester Matos also contributed 12 and 11 points, respectively.
On the side of ACC, Rosendo Acabado scored 16 points to lead the offense of the Green Serpents. Kiet Aeron Bonaobra pitched in 14 points.
